Because of a variety of changes... and no time to add them at the moment, you are reading this worthless message.

Briefly, after my heart attack I took a part time job at a new
Eckard Drug store near my home at the Eagles in NW Hillsborough...
just to get out of the house a few hours every day.

I ran for Congress in 2000... first as a Natural Law Party canidate at the
urging of my friend, Dr. John Hagelin - a nuclear physicist and professor
at Maharishi U in Iowa... who was the NLP Prexy Candidate that year.
He convinced me to change my affiliation to Reform Party...
hoping to build a Reform/NLP coaltion.
That idea failed when Pat "I still love Tricky Dick Nixon" Buchanan
railroaded the reform movement and stole the nomination.
Pat B... called me several times...
demanding he be able to campaign with me in Florida.
Of course... I was less than polite... inviting him to
go into a corner and have sex with himself.

Conducting my campaign mostly on the internet....
except when on the road with Green Party members
who endorsed my candidacy...
I managed to garner 18% of the vote in the race for
the FL09 Congressional seat held by Mike Bilirakis.

I spent a total of $3000 getting 46,000 votes...
The incumbent trounced me by spending
a half million dollars!
But my percentage was the BEST of any third
or no party federal candidate that year...
except for the Vermont inclumbent, Bernie Sanders.

Then an old friend offered my a temp position writing news at WFLA-TV.
Except for making many life long friends,
this was a horrible experience.
That's all I want to say about that, other than to
suggest anyone wanting a career in TV news do
their best to avoid working for Media General!

I spent much of 2008 working to get Obama elected.

Over the past ten years I've done some book and newspaper column
editing, video prodiuction and web site work for
clients like Dr. Matthew Edlund,.

But most of my time these days
(when not blinded by ocular migraines -
like now, when it's like viewing the world
through broken stained glass windows)
is spent working on MY next book:
